About
Ever since the birth of our first grandchild photography has been an important part of my life. It is a way for me to mark the growth and development of our grandchildren and to record the very special times we spend with our entire family. Over time I've expanded my subject matter to include pictures of the world around me. In some ways this has become my spiritual outlet, a way to capture the beauty present in our world.
Then, last May, I upgraded to a DSLR and the rest is history. What started out as a "hobby" has now become my passion.
As my husband says,"When we travel it's two steps forward and then stop while Sheila takes a picture."
Never totally satisfied with my level of proficiency I am constantly working to learn more about the art of picture taking.
I appreciate it when someone takes the time to comment on a photo whether it's to offer a suggestion or to tell me what you like about the photo.
